OBX 2009

This photos were taken back in 2009 during our summer-fun-with-friends at OBX - outer banks of North Carolina that is. I love the place and can't wait to visit it again. The image with kids is one of my favorite shot. Their smile reflects the fun we had at the beach and of course the company of family and friends.

Gingerbread House

I never thought that making a gingerbread house is soooo much fun. My daughter has been waiting for this moment to create and decorate her house. We bought a gingy kit which has a prefab wall and roof, a powdered icing to be mixed with warm water, colored sweets and a piping kit. I hate to admit it but I loved the piping part. My little girl did all the decorating and coaching. I didn't want to miss the moment since it is the very first time we did this, so I took lots of photos during the process. The D family
