Snow Day 2011

First major snow storm for 2011. The road was tricky on my way home last night just as the storm was at it's strongest. Got stuck for 40 minutes along a major road. Can't complain, everybody want's to reach home and I am just a couple of blocks away from home. To add insult to injury, power went out for 15 hours. The night was super cold but has not match for layers and layers of thermal blankets. My back is now hurting from clearing the snow. But a hot cocoa is always a nice treat during cold stormy days.

The adrenalin of launching the browser and pulling out my favorite photo sites is kind of my daily thrill. Seeing new images, reading their blogs, absorbing new tricks and ideas is what pushes me to do better on what I love doing - taking photographs. My list starts with Strobist, JoeyL, Chase Jarvis.. I can go on and on.. there are lots of great masters out there. What I like about these 3 masters are their unselfish, simple and easy-to-grasp way of sharing their knowledge.

New Year's Eve PJ Party

What a cool way to wait for the clock to strike 12 and celebrate the new year. Friends came and spent the whole evening sharing food and laughters. Happy New Year to all!
